Management update

Reesink starts 2023 in a strong position after a management restructure and navigating a challenging year. Alastair Rowell is now managing director of Reesink UK after David Cole’s retirement last summer. Jon Cole moved from the Reesink South West branch to the role of divisional business manager for Reesink Turfcare and David Timms, previously regional sales manager for the midlands is now national accounts manager. Gillian Haverson joins as marketing and communications manager for Reesink UK. A very positive start to the year!

Student Awards

After a record number of entries, the Student Greenkeeper of the Year Award 2022 winners were announced at Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. James Gaskell from Ripon City Golf Club scooped the main award and Peter Pattenden from Carden Park Golf Club won the Young Award. Entries can be made now for the 2023 event will be held at Carden Park in Cheshire and as always there are educational, international, all-expenses-paid prizes for the winners, runners-up and nominators.
