Who should attend: Anyone with limited experience operating ride-on mowing equipment. These courses are aimed at new starters, including landscape contractors, greenkeepers, farmers and operators from local authorities.

Course objectives: This is practical training and assessment in the use of mower operations, showing that the operator can manoeuvre the mower skillfully and safely. The test includes pre-use checks and maintenance; identification of controls and instrument panels and operating the machine in line with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)
