Work recognised in Green Apple Environment Awards
We are delighted to report that our work with Bio-Circle, whose sustainable machinery cleaning products we have distributed across the UK since 2022, has been honoured with an International Green Apple Environment Award at Kensington Palace.
GreenGrounds promotes environmental awareness within the turf and groundscare industries, raises the importance of effective sustainable activities and makes an overall positive impact towards decarbonisation and environmentally-friendly maintenance for groundscare.
It is a joint initiative which was selected for commendation from over 1,200 nominations worldwide in the International Green Apple Environment Awards, which celebrates the greenest companies and most innovative environmental practices globally.
The Green Apple Awards are organised by The Green Organisation, a respected independent, non- profit environmental group and are dedicated to recognising, rewarding, and promoting environmental best practices worldwide. The organisation’s efforts have grown to highlight the critical importance of sustainable action in today’s world.
The award was presented by Richard Wilkins, General Manager at Sony UK Technology Centre, Wales, winners of this year’s International Green Apple Awards Champion of Champions. Jon Cole, Divisional Business Manager, says:
