Global Supply Issues Means Unavoidable Delays

As we come out of lockdown, there’s a feeling of positivity and optimism across the turfcare industry and rightly so. Many organisations are experiencing increased memberships and demand, and as a result demand for machines is also very high. However, it’s going to take global supply and production networks some time to catch up with both the backlog from lockdown and the increase in demand, and it will be several months before things are back to ‘normal’ or full capacity.

There are also ongoing delays in raw material supplies and global transportation routes in general, this affects the parts required to build the machines and delays the manufacturing process and/or shipping of the finished machines to Europe. This is an industry-wide and global issue.

What Toro and Reesink are doing specifically to help the situation is investing resources to support availability – including paying airfreight on accessory items and/or other premiums to secure equipment from other Toro distributors, where there’s the option. At the time of writing the delay on many models is approximately six months from placing your order to receiving your machines. However, the situation is improving all the time and your order may be with you sooner.

Thank you to all our customers for your support, patience and understanding as we navigate these times. We will have further updates for you soon.

Best wishes,
